Dr. Jacquiline Bisasor-McKenzie is the Chief Medical Officer for Jamaica. She has served the public health sector in a variety of capacities including Head of the Accident & Emergency Department at the Spanish Town Hospital, as well as the Director of Emergency Medicine, Principal Medical Officer and Branch Director for Emergency Disaster Management and Special Services within the Ministry of Health.  She has played an integral role in the Ministry’s response to the Chikungunya Epidemic (2014),Threat of Ebola (2014-2015), Zika Virus Disease Epidemic (2016-2017), Dengue Epidemic (2018-2020) and the COVID-19 Pandemic (2020), the Management of Air Quality Issues at the Cornwall Regional Hospital and the development of a Ten Year Strategic Plan for the Ministry.
